I lost art for a good 5 years of my life. It was while I was studying to become an Occupational Therapist and all my brain had capacity for was anatomy and how not to fail Physics (vom)! But then one day, I decided I wanted to make a gift for my cousin, Kristen. I sketched an owl, put it in a little frame and she adored it! ... And! That's how it all began - again.
Commissions are one of my favourite things. To create something truly unique and at the same time make someone feel loved is a special kind of high. If you have an idea or project in mind please send me a message with the details! I'd love to work with you.
Animals and Pet Portraits
Wild animals and pet portraits account for about half of my custom pieces! It makes sense - living in South Africa! From Mom and baby lions to giraffes, wild dogs and pelicans! They can all be done.

Pen and Watercolour
Pen and watercolour isn't a common combination. I stumbled upon it a few years ago and it seems to be the style I've stayed with. I've done countless custom pieces in this style: copies of childhood homes, flower scenes, landscapes and, lately, some very sweet "born in Cape Town" birthday gifts.

Stamp Pieces
I did a lot of these pieces when I first started out. I was making Christmas cards with stamps and happened upon this style. "Brother bear" was my very first stamp animal.
They can also be used for City skylines using your own personalized letters.
